Burgers with an Ardennes twist
Ingredients
- 1 slice of Ardenne filet
- 5 g Young sprouts of spinach
- 1 Maredsous Tradition tranche
- 1 tbsp Olive oil
- 1/2 tbsp from Du Vrai Sirop de Liège® Classic
- 1/2 tbsp the ketchup
- 1/2 tbsp of Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp from mustard to old-fashioned
- 1 beef burger
- Salt
- Pepper
- A few drops of Tabasco
Recipe
Remove the burgers from the refrigerator 30 minutes in advance.
Prepare the Syrup de Liège sauce: combine all the ingredients listed in a bowl and whisk them together to mix well.
Heat a non-stick pan over high heat. Brush the burgers with olive oil and fry them for 1 minute on each side in the very hot pan. Then reduce the heat and continue cooking to your taste, then season with salt and pepper.
In the meantime, toast the slices of Ardenne fillet cut in half in a lightly oiled pan. Cut the bread into two and toast them on the side of the bread, on a grill or in a large dry pan.
Cut the Maredsous slices in half and place them on the burgers. Let them rest for 1 minute while the cheese melts, then garnish the buns with sauce, burgers, slices of fillet and young spinach leaves. Enjoy!
